Changes in VISA and MasterCard rules

Please be advised that on October 19, 2019 changes in Visa and MasterCard Interchange Fees for transactions on consumer payment cards issued outside of the European Economic Area occurring at merchants located in the European Economic Area come into effect and shall be set at the following rates: 1.15% of the value of the transaction for debit cards and 1.50% of the value of the transaction for credit cards ("card not present transactions"). 
This notification is informative and is provided under Visa and MasterCard requirements, as interchange fee is a part of the Merchant Processing Rate.
