Via Jurmala Outlet Village introduces new Mastercard Gift Cards

Transact Pro, a leading Latvian non-banking financial service provider, in cooperation with first in the Baltic States European-class multi-brand, open-air outlet town Via Jurmala Outlet Village, have teamed up and launch Mastercard Closed-loop Gift Card solution for the outlet village customers. 
The new Mastercard Gift Cards will provide the Outlet Village with an opportunity to increase sales and attract new customers, enhancing security, reducing infrastructure costs, expanding supply and increasing customer loyalty to Via Jurmala Outlet Village.
International Mastercard payment system and cards enable optimization of payment processes with retailers, also as enables acceptance and processing of transactions. This process is becoming more convenient for clients and more beneficial for retailers. Outlet Villages in nowadays do not have to deal with the maintenance and servicing of local system, which provide gift card acceptance, turnover tracking and settlements with merchants.
The gift card will be available for purchase at the outlet village information centre and the nominal value of the card will be between EUR 10 and 150. The gift card will also have restrictions – it will only be accepted at the Via Jurmala Outlet Village participating merchants (without any additional commissions), will not enable cash withdrawals or adding funds to the balance. The balance of the card can be viewed on the Via Jurmala website or at he the information centre.
